The build
Word games do not translate — they have to be rebuilt. Word Safari ships six language editions, each with a dictionary curated by a native speaker and a difficulty curve fitted to that language, because a seven-letter word is not the same challenge in German as it is in Indonesian.
One daily grid is shared by everyone in a language edition, which makes the result shareable as a spoiler-free emoji-free score string. Streaks are stored locally and reconciled on sign-in.
The animals exist to make the board legible. Each species marks a difficulty band, so players know what they are walking into before the first tap.
